Firepits built into Concrete Counter tops in Outdoor Kitchens

Building a Built-in BBQ? One of the latest trends is to incorporate a more formal entertainment area right into the design so it becomes more of a entertainment area than cooking area. There are several ways of accomplishing this such as built-in water features or flame features such fireplaces or firepits.

The attached example is a great way to incorporate more seating with a table that serves as a firepit as well. This is all done with artistic concrete by a company called NuConcrete. The artistic concrete counter top allows for a seamless connection to the cooking and bar area. Making the table at bar height (approximately 42”) allows you to use the same stools in the seating as the bar area as well.
